GENERAL ITEMS WARRANTY AGREEMENT

This Limited Warranty Statement applies only to EMBASSY ONLINE.

The agreement is subject to the conditions described below. This warranty only applies to a sales agreement between EMBASSY and the Buyer in instant case. By making purchase of the products, it would be deemed that buyer also accepted terms of this Warranty Agreement.

The warranty is for general products labelled “EMBASSY” or products sold direct from “EMBASSY ONLINE”

The primary purpose of this warranty agreement is to clearly define and lay down the terms and conditions related to the sale and warranty policy of the Products.

1. WARRANTY PERIOD

For general items you purchased, you receive an EMBASSY warranty valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

2. SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY

Under the terms of this warranty, the repair or replacement of any part shall be the opinion of the Company or its authorised agent.

This warranty only applies provided that the Product has been used in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations under normal use and reasonable care (in the opinion of the Company) and such warranty does not cover

  • consumable components,
  • damage,
  • malfunction or failure resulting from
  • misuse,
  • neglect,
  • abuse,
  • or used for a purpose for which it was not designed,
  • or is not suited and no repairs,
  • alterations or modifications have been attempted by other than an Authorised Service Agent.
  • This guarantee will not apply if the tool is damaged by accident or if repairs arise from normal wear and tear.

With regards to bicycle warranty, warranty only applies if item purchased follows that which is directed by the website or agent. If direction is not followed as per instructions given this will nullify the warranty of the product purchased.

The warranty does not include

  • Assembly by other than a professional
  • damage
  • malfunction or failure resulting from
  • misuse
  • neglect,
  • abuse
  • or used for a purpose for which it was not designed,
  • or is not suited and no repairs,
  • alterations or modifications have been attempted by other than an professional assembler.
  • This guarantee will not apply if the tool is damaged by accident or if repairs arise from normal wear and tear.

The Company accepts no additional liability pursuant to this warranty for the costs of traveling or transportation of the Product or parts. Nothing herein shall have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying any conditions, warranty, right or liability imposed, to the extent only that such exclusion, restriction or modification would render any term herein void.

4. APPLICABLE LAW

The Warranty is subject to the law of South Africa, failure to follow South African law in any will immediately nullify your warranty of the product purchased.
